status, harness, refresh
status
Section titled “status”kcap status [--json] [--no-update-check]Reports the CLI version and whether an update is available, the server and whether it is reachable, authentication, each agent integration (detected, wired, or the command to wire it), and the daemon. --json prints the same as one document: configured, profile, server, auth, version, harnesses, daemon. configured means a server is set and credentials exist; whoami checks that the server accepts them
harness
Section titled “harness”kcap harness list [--json]kcap harness dismiss <vendor> [<vendor> ...] | --allkcap harness reset <vendor> [<vendor> ...] | --allManages the reminders about detected but unconfigured agents, not the integrations themselves. Vendor ids: claude, codex, cursor, copilot, gemini, kiro, pi, opencode, antigravity, mistral-vibe, grok, muse. dismiss --all dismisses the agents currently detected but unconfigured; reset --all clears every saved entry. kcap config set disable_harness_nudge true silences the reminders everywhere
refresh
Section titled “refresh”kcap refreshBrings the integrations a previous kcap installed up to this version: skills, each agent’s hooks and MCP entries, the Claude Code plugin, and installed daemon service units. Only integrations installed before are touched. kcap update, the npm postinstall and the install scripts run it; run it yourself after one of them reports a failed step. Exits non-zero listing any failed step
