Hide a session
Hiding a session makes it readable by you alone. Storing continues, so the session is complete and recap still works for you
From your agent
Section titled “From your agent”Hide this session
The hide skill sets the current session to owner-only
From the terminal
Section titled “From the terminal”kcap hide # the session this terminal is inkcap hide <sessionId> # a session by id (a UUID, not the readable slug)With no argument the CLI resolves the session from the agent’s environment. No confirmation is asked
From the web app
Section titled “From the web app”Open the session, choose Share, then Private, and Apply
What hiding does not do
Section titled “What hiding does not do”It does not delete anything; see Delete a session. It does not hide the other segments of a continuation chain; hide each one you mean. It does not remove the session from counts an admin can see, only its content from other readers
To share it again later, use the Share control
