config
Section titled “config”kcap config showkcap config set <key> <value> [--no-probe]kcap config unset flows.reviewer_vendor | skills.auto_syncset and unset edit the stored global active profile regardless of repository binding or KCAP_PROFILE; kcap use <name> --global first to target another. telemetry is machine-wide. --no-probe applies to server_url. The keys and their defaults are in Configuration. Clear a list with an empty quoted value: kcap config set excluded_repos ""
profile
Section titled “profile”kcap profile add <name> --server-url <url> [--remote <pattern>]... [--no-probe]kcap profile listkcap profile show [<name>]kcap profile remove <name>--remote patterns match the normalised host/owner/repo case-insensitively with * within one segment. Adding does not activate. remove deletes the profile, its directory bindings and its saved sign-in; the default and global active profiles cannot be removed
kcap use <profile> [--global] [--save]Binds the profile to the git repository root (or current directory). --global sets the global active profile instead; repository bindings still win. --save writes .kcap.json with the profile name and server URL for the team
allow, ignore
Section titled “allow, ignore”kcap allow <path> | --list | --remove <path>kcap ignore <path> | --list | --remove <path>Per profile. allow restricts capture to the listed trees (empty allows all); ignore excludes a tree. Ignore wins. Both apply to live capture and imports, and combine with allowed_repos
